How long is the rental?
Each package includes seven calendar days. Extensions are available only when inventory allows and must be requested before your pickup date.
Is moving labor included?
No. Tote rental is a delivery-and-pickup service. Optional labor is $80 per hour for one mover or $160 per hour for two movers, with a 3-hour minimum, based on availability and actual time.
What is the difference between the dolly and hand truck?
The included flat tote dolly is a low four-wheel platform made to fit the totes. The optional hand truck is the tall, upright two-wheel style and costs $20.
Do I need to clean the totes?
Just empty and nest them before pickup. We handle normal cleaning and sanitizing. Excessive residue or prohibited materials may result in a cleaning charge.
What happens if something is lost or damaged?
Missing or unusable tote-and-lid sets are $15 each; a missing or unusable lid alone is $8. Missing or unusable flat dollies are $75 each. A hand truck is charged at documented replacement cost. Normal scuffs from careful use are not charged.
Can I rent totes for a large house?
You may rent any available tote package, but One Strong Man does not guarantee that a particular tote count will pack an entire home. Full-house moving labor is not a standard service.
When do I pay?
After Steward confirms your dates, inventory, addresses and final total, you will receive a Stripe checkout link. Checkout includes the rental, add-ons, any approved travel or labor, and one flat $25 refundable security deposit. Your payment method is saved by Stripe only for charges authorized in the Rental Agreement.
